USPA NEWS - Going into Claire Garveys shop my heart was racing like mad. I was nervous about the photo shoot as it was my first official photo shoot and to have a first time one with such a prestigious famous designer made me shiver to in my boots.

I didn´t know what to expect to be honest; I had only heard of Claire Garvey and her designs but what I experienced wasn´t what I expected. My first impression of Claire Garvey was that she seemed very sweet and lovely and when we got introduced she gave me a hug to greet me and welcome me to her store. At that moment all my worries went away and I had instantly calmed down and felt comfortable and more confident. Claire Garvey was not the only person there though. I got to meet a lot of other amazing people that day too. Other than the talented models that participated in the shoot we were also accompanied by Momi Kay (makeup artist) the one and only AC Matilda, Dennis Ward (photographer) and Kyriacos Petrou (video) who made the experience amazing for myself and the other models. I had a great day full of laughter, they all made everything feel so natural for me it was like a normal day I felt so comfortable it was like there was no pressure no cameras or anything. Claire Garvey, Matilda and Momi Kay worked great with Ward Presses. They even took part in taking photographs and video with the models and the designs they even commented on a live broadcast about the whole experience and thanked everyone involved. I would like to thank everyone who took part on the day and a special thanks to Dennis Ward for making the whole experience possible for me. I had an amazing time and I hope that all my future photoshoots will be the as enjoyable and as fun as the last. by David Marcius.
